The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa (NHA), previously known as The Jockey Club, is a professional regulatory body for both the sport of Thoroughbred horseracing and the breeding of Thoroughbred horses in Southern Africa.<\/p>\n

The main function of the NHA is to maintain and enhance the sport of horseracing with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.<\/p>\n

An opportunity exists for three persons who have a high level of interest in sport and sports administration to receive training in all aspects of the horseracing sector with a view to being employed in a capacity best suited to the candidate\u2019s and the sector\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n

The role:<\/strong>
\nTrainees will follow a programme designed to give them a broad understanding of the administration and control of the sport of horseracing.<\/p>\n

During the programme, Trainees will receive tuition and instruction in an effort to equip them with the necessary skills to fulfil a role within the sport of horseracing.<\/p>\n

The final deployment of the Trainee will take into account the strengths of\u00a0 the Trainee as well as the needs within the administration and regulation of horseracing.<\/p>\n
