Tracker requires the services of a Team Lead: Security Specialist based in the Technology Department in our Johannesburg Head Office. The incumbent will be responsible for the design, build, maintenance and documentation of the network security infrastructure. This includes administration of Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Network Access Control (NAC), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN). They will work very closely with infrastructure operations teams to ensure that all necessary controls are in place to securely support the company’s service offerings.<\/p>\n

\nImplement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
\nIdentify and define system security requirement
\nDesign computer security architecture and develop detailed [URL Disabled] designs.
\nPrepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
\nConfigure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
\nDevelop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
\nEnsure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
\nWrite comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.
\nAbility to work within the ITIL framework
\nMonitor the security of the organization\u2019s network from threats originating from inside and outside the organization.
\nCollect, and analyse data to make decisions and recommendations regarding security standards and controls.
\nConduct continuous analysis of security threat information (viruses, malicious code, industry events, hackers and zero day exploits, e.g. OEM weaknesses, IDS\/IPS and SIEM alerting) in order to proactively assess and investigate emerging threats and potential impact to Tracker.<\/p>\n
