Our IT assistant manager will be managing the IT team ( Software & hardware) and all systems that are developed. Provide support on ERP systems, developing and establishing IT infrastructure standards and procedures.<\/p>\n

\nDuties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nPreparing project budgets and presentations.
\nCoordinate and Manage infrastructure and systems upgrades and rollouts.
\nResponsible for complete budget management.
\nEstablish and maintain relationships with users, third parties\/vendors and all stakeholders.
\nOversee all help desk activities at Constantia Afripack.
\nRespond to escalated help desk issues.
\nOversee troubleshooting, systems backup, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary.
\nCreate and maintain comprehensive IT project documentation.
\nEnsure compliance with audit and group IT standards.
\nCoordinate and interact with group IT for support.
\nPrepare project presentations and monthly IT project updated for MANCO.
\nConduct weekly team meetings.
\nConduct monthly SLA meetings with vendors.
\nCoordinate internal resources and third parties & vendors for the successful execution of IT projects.
\nDisplay consistent energy, drive, persistence and organization to deliver results.
\nResolve conflict and tolerate stress, while delivering on multiple deadlines in a high \u2013 pressured environment.
\nAssigning work to the operations staff and the analysis, design, deployment and operations of the IT software supporting the business.
\nManages project team to implement internal systems and rollout projects with external vendors.
\nInteracts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve It related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
\nEnsure that company assets are maintained responsibly.
\nStrong software support skills.
\nStrong business intelligence skills.
\nExcellent skills in record keeping and documenting processes.<\/p>\n
\nMatric (Grade 12)
\nBachelor’s degree \/Diploma in Computer Science\/Information Technology or equivalent preferable
\nMust have good understanding of server environment, software changes, software support
\nMust understand It infrastructure technologies like storage area networks (SAN), WAN acceleration device, virtualization, backup and data warehouse
\nSolid system support experience
\nITIL or PMI certification preferable
\nMust take a leadership role and act as a go to person for the business units and IT department when it comes to IT supporting both projects and operations
\nMust build\/maintain and manage a strong IT team that can support the dynamic and fast paced environment
\nExperience in business intelligence and implementing new business intelligence reporting to enhance user experience
\nSuitable project management qualifications preferable
\nMinimum 10 years of IT experience with 5 years of management experience is a requirement
\nMinimum 5 years business analyst system support experience
\nStrong Microsoft skills (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment
\nQlikview experience
\nERP Systems support experience (Baan IV and SAP)<\/p>\n
