Job Title: IT Support Manager 3pm till MIDNIGHT!<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Assist and manage all infrastructure related queries in the company, on request and as per business requirements.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Manage team of IT technicians and helpdesk administrators.<\/p>\n QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Matric or equivalent<\/p>\n \u00b7 A+ and N+ is essential<\/p>\n \u00b7 IT related qualification is an advantage.<\/p>\n \u00b7 3-5 years\u2019 proven experience as an IT Support Manager or in a similar role<\/p>\n \u00b7 At least 1year IT Support experience in a contact centre environment.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Advanced experience in desktop support<\/p>\n \u00b7 Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing, and create policies and procedures for upgrades.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Analyse and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.<\/p>\n \u00b7 To resolve complaints and ensure escalated queries are being attended to efficiently.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Manage team discipline and scheduling<\/p>\n COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Valid South African driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n \u00b7 Own car\/transport<\/p>\n \u00b7 Excellent communication skills, must be articulate and well spoken<\/p>\n \u00b7 Excellent computer skills<\/p>\n \u00b7 Tenacious, with ability to work independently and take responsibility<\/p>\n \u00b7 Be flexible and energetic<\/p>\n \u00b7 Possess leadership skills<\/p>\n \u00b7 Possess ability to multitask<\/p>\n RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n Main Duties:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Daily server checks<\/p>\n \u00b7 Server Maintenance\/update\/new<\/p>\n \u00b7 Backups \u2013 Monitoring, scheduling, best practices<\/p>\n \u00b7 Asterisk \u2013 Basic maintenance,<\/p>\n \u00b7 Firewall \u2013 Best practices, configure, secure, maintain<\/p>\n \u00b7 Switches \u2013 Configure, maintain, monitor, usage stats<\/p>\n \u00b7 Anti-Virus \u2013 Ensure compliance, effective and up to date protection<\/p>\n \u00b7 Hyper-V maintenance<\/p>\n \u00b7 Office 365 Administration<\/p>\n Customer Service Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Ensure that technicians are always \u2018customer-orientated\u2019, energetic, friendly, respectful and empathetic when conversing with internal employees and customers.<\/p>\n \u00b7 To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and \/ or services to ensure that a professional Company brand image is maintained at all times.
