{"id":8084,"date":"2012-09-18T02:48:23","date_gmt":"2012-09-18T00:48:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=8084"},"modified":"2013-09-24T08:14:48","modified_gmt":"2013-09-24T06:14:48","slug":"total-south-africa-bursaries-for-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/total-south-africa-bursaries-for-2013.html","title":{"rendered":"TOTAL South Africa Bursaries For 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Closing Date:<\/strong>\u00a030 October 2012<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target Group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>for full-time tuition at an FET college or a university in order for them to achieve a formal qualification e.g. a certificate, diploma or degree.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The aim of the bursary programme is to:<!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhance youth development and employability<\/li>\n<li>Create a pool of talent to feed into the internship programme<\/li>\n<li>Create a skills pool for scarce and critical skills<\/li>\n<li>required by the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We offer bursaries in the following fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, and Civil)<\/li>\n<li>Economics<\/li>\n<li>Finance (Accounting or Tax)<\/li>\n<li>Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Studies<\/li>\n<li>Human Resources<\/li>\n<li>Logistics\/Supply Chain Management<\/li>\n<li>Law and Governance<\/li>\n<li>Health and Safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who is eligible to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Priority consideration for bursaries is given to previously disadvantaged South African students who have successfully completed their Grade 12 with a university exemption.<br \/>\nBursaries are also provided to students in their third year of studies provided they have achieved an average of 65% or greater for years 1 and 2 and require funding to continue their studies.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible learners should not be receiving any financial assistance from another institution or company.
