We are looking to recruit an experienced JAVA DEVELOPER to service our telecommunications client.<\/p>\n
The succesful candidate’s role will be to assist in System Design, for example, architectural design, assisting other developers with technical decisions and coding, and performing prescribed coding and reviewing of same.<\/p>\n

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nRequired to research and choose the best architecture for the proposed system adhering to development standards.
\nDevelop code ensuring that it meets the defined criteria for software testing, and produce software builds for loading onto target hardware from software source code within the client’s coding standards.
\nConfiguring the environment required by the system development and producing integration test specifications as per project plans.
\nConducting the tests as defined in the specifications and recording any failures, followed by FAT test results for each function developed and finally producing system integration reports.
\nDue to the business-critical nature, you may occasionally be required to work outside of regular working hours.
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nA minimum of 5 year applicable experience
\nMatric
\nStandard literacy \u2013 English: read, write and speak
\nIT Degree or Diploma
\nJava
\nIn-depth Java knowledge, including J2EE, Spring, CAMEL and associated technologies
\nExperience and knowledge in CSS and HTML
\nWorking knowledge of operating systems, including Linux
\nIn-depth knowledge of SQL and industry-standard databases
\nUnderstanding and working knowledge of J2EE containers and web servers
\nA thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
\nThorough Rabbit MQ \/ ActiveMQ working experience.
\nExperience in Scrum\/Agile methodologies.
\nWell versed in Docker and Kubernetes deployments
\nKafka Working experience
\nProven team leadership experience<\/p>\n
