Job Title: Internal Account Manager – ICT Distribution<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> First point of contact with the customer<\/p>\n Portraying professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service<\/p>\n To build and maintain an active customer base to support the sales team<\/p>\n Proactivity on sales by implementing an agreed sales strategy with the Account manager on named accounts<\/p>\n Understanding of each assigned account, with the ability to give regular feedback<\/p>\n Quotations should meet specifications as per requirement, thorough insight of specific account or department should be taken into consideration when quoting<\/p>\n Specific objectives set for each account \/ ownership of account \/ understanding of individual<\/p>\n Excellent time management and personal organizational skills<\/p>\n Support the Sales team and develop new sales<\/p>\n To capitalize on opportunities through negotiation of prices to achieve sales targets set by the Management team.<\/p>\n Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospectivecustomers<\/p>\n Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products, compiling information on the desired products or datasheets<\/p>\n Maximize sales by continually expanding orders and up selling on all incoming and outgoing calls<\/p>\n Liaise daily with the external sales team and update them on any developments on their accounts, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist<\/p>\n Cross-discipline team working<\/p>\n Create quotations from requests received.<\/p>\n Ensure all orders received are entered into the system accurately.<\/p>\n Meet and exceed the agreed SLA\u2019s on quoting and deliveries.<\/p>\n Ensure a consistent closure rate within appropriate timelines.<\/p>\n Strong attention to detail<\/p>\n Follow up on warehouse until in production and to delivery<\/p>\n Account Managers to be cc’d on all correspondence on their accounts<\/p>\n Ensure all quotations are followed up.<\/p>\n Processing of relevant orders, delivery notes \/ collection notes, back orders, ETA\u2019s, and feedback communication<\/p>\n Filing of relevant documents<\/p>\n Follow up of queries, quotations, deliveries, payments timeously<\/p>\n Provide management with sales on hand reports timeously on a weekly basis<\/p>\n Desired Experience & Qualification 2 to 3 years IT distribution experience in the sales support role<\/p>\n Technology driven<\/p>\n Relevant technical knowledge<\/p>\n

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nIdentifying and understanding role players in each assigned account
\nLiaise between divisions and customers to efficiently communicate deliveries and ETA\u2019s feedback etc<\/p>\n
\nMatric is essential and a tertiary qualification will be an advantage<\/p>\n
