IT Service Centre Intern – Fixed term contract

\nWe are looking to recruit IT Service Centre Interns for a fixed term contract, to work within the IT department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Service Centre Supervisors\/Service Manager (IT).<\/p>\n

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nThe purpose of the job will be to ensure the cost effective management of IT Incidents and service requests from end to end point of view and to provide dynamic IT Support within the agreed Service Promise.<\/p>\n
\nJob Objectives:<\/strong>
\nProviding telephonic and email support to users
\nTo accurately record, assign, escalate and track all incidents and service requests
\nTaking ownership of incident and Service request from initiation to closure
\nTo deliver dynamic first line technical support in order to promptly restore IT Services within service levels
\nTo engage professionally with business users and vendors to provide customer service within agreed service levels
\nTo ensure that all IT related incidents and service requests are resolved effectively with high level of customer
\nTo perform standby work from time to time in the IT Service Centre
\nWIllingness to work weekends, Public holidays and Sundays if and when required<\/p>\n
\nJob related knowledge and skills
\nKnowledge of Information Systems
\nKnowledge of company policies and procedures
\nKnowledge of governance framework
\nKnowledge of customer service and incident management processes
\nStrong verbal and written communication skills
\nAnalytical and technical computer skills<\/p>\n

\nMatric \/ Grade 12
\nIS or IT Diploma<\/p>\n
