Job Title: ICT Manager<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong> Assessing medium term ICT infrastructure requirements, developing a roll out plan and budget thereto and project managing the various elements of implementation. Tactical Work:<\/strong><\/p>\n Day-to-day management of the ICT Team. Suitable candidate will have degree in Computer Science or similar with proven experience in an ICT management capacity (+5yrs).<\/p>\n Working knowledge and experience of DevOps (development\/project management\/active team participation) within the Microsoft Technology Stack, particularly some\/all of the following:

\nDeveloping and maintaining an effective and secure ICT infrastructure. Ensuring that company information is kept in a secure and well-structured manner that promotes ease of use and mitigates data security and disaster risks. Ensuring the effective development and deployment of strategic business information systems to enhance user work efficiency and eliminate risk.<\/p>\n
\nStrategic Work:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nEvaluating potential ICT risks and developing cost effective mitigation strategies, budgets and project managing the various elements of implementation.
\nEvaluate ICT training needs and present viable training solutions to HR.
\nProject management of strategic ICT projects (development and operations ie \u201cDevOps\u201d).
\nProvide Inputs for Strategic Planning purposes.
\nPrepare and present ICT Budgets
\nAnalysis of business Processes to propose control and efficiency measures.
\nEmbrace and drive the deployment of the People Journey within the company.
\nEmbrace and drive the deployment of the Company’s Management System.<\/p>\n
\nOversee the management of the ICT Asset register to ensure that assets are tracked.
\nProvide input for insurance of ICT assets
\nMonitor data backup in accordance with retention policies.
\nEnsuring smooth take-on and standardisation of \u2018new\u2019 users and secure removal of ones that leave the organisation.
\nOversee planned and unplanned maintenance and support activities
\nMonitor performance and capacity of key infrastructure resources.
\nAuditing ICT systems to understand risks.
\nPlanning and delegating ICT resources.
\nReport on ICT Projects status
\nManage ICT Spend
\nManagement of the Relationship and service delivery from external service providers
\nReview of Telecommunications costs and budgets and propose structure changes and cost-efficient methods.
\nDeliver Ad-Hoc small ICT solutions \/ tools expected of a person of this skillset.
