Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2022 Hacking the planet \u2013 get your hands dirty and pull apart code, whether it is application, mobile, platform, container or on-premise or cloud infrastructure – and look for bugs.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Coordinate application and infrastructure penetration testing with internal and external parties according to our internal methodology and where relevant, in line with compliance requirements (e.g., PCI).<\/p>\n
\u2022 Support the building and maturing of the red and purple teaming capability area, leveraging technology and automation with the goal of continual control validation.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Modelling Threats \u2013 enhance and optimise infrastructure, platform, application and mobile security by identifying threats, vulnerabilities and associated countermeasures.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Draft funky but professional reports to detail the findings of the assessments, including appropriate recommendations to mitigate identified security issues.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Help drive and validate remediation of findings.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Maintain and enhance cool toolsets \u2013 manage the relevant tools required for mature product security that include pen testing, secure coding and source code analysis. Investigate new approaches, technology and automation to challenge traditional thinking and raise the level of security.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Secure the development of products\u2013 integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, verify the security of internally and externally developed applications and services during and after development and deployment. Actively participate in the SDLC though guidance, education, input and facilitation.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Consult with application development teams during projects and initiatives.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide AppSec reporting for operational security dashboards.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide AppSec guidance via documentation, standards, and collaboration.<\/p>\n
Additional Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\nSupporting the Blue Team to wield their shields<\/p>\n
\u2022 Support the team in responding to security incidents when needed.<\/p>\n
Supporting the broader Cyber SecOpsTeam<\/p>\n
\u2022 Collaborate with the broader SecOps Team, to drive and support various operational and strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Champion or co-champion internal security solutions and\/or processes.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Minimum of 4 years\u2019 hands on experience in penetration testing and red teaming<\/p>\n\u2022 Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Checkmarx, Cobalt Strike and Metasploit<\/p>\n
\u2022 Knowledge of programming languages, Android, iOS and Huawei<\/p>\n
\u2022 Demonstrated track record of applying technical knowledge to help improve security<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to adapt and take on new tasks and challenges<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to script and automate processes<\/p>\n
Advantageous:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2022 Relevant qualifications and certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, SANS and CREST<\/p>\n
Additional Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2022 Knowledge of Woolworths IT and cyber security landscape, including systemic understanding of key business linkages and dependencies<\/p>\n
