We are a Swiss Multinational company with a leading footprint in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Senior Network &amp; IT System Engineer to join our Regional Group IT team.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Network &amp; IT System Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Bryanston<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nResponsible for administering, building, testing and operating ICT infrastructure platform and services for all sites across Africa and Europa (networks, servers, storages). Responsible for Oryx Energies Level 3 IT support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nMaintain, design and improve security networks for the Group.<br \/>\nOperational support of ICT infrastructure such as servers, storages and networks for all sites<br \/>\nLevel 3 support for all sites.<br \/>\nResponsible of Oryx Group projects for all sites under Group IT Infrastructure Manager responsibility.<br \/>\nFollow the company information systems strategic plan and direction, and specifically for meeting the current and future ICT infrastructure needs of the Oryx Group.<br \/>\nImplement and execute the relevant processes for the efficient and professional delivery of the ICT infrastructure services.<br \/>\nMaintain standards, implementation, and operation of ICT platforms &amp; communication systems.<br \/>\nFollow IT Group policies and IT Group standards.<br \/>\nMonitor and maintain security and integrity of information technology systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nBeing proactive and innovative, you are expected to be highly reliable, to search for excellence, to respect good governance and HSSEQ principles across the company and consider the company\u2019s reputation at all times in particular respecting the OESA Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n<p>You are responsible for your personal results, and do not hesitate to display a proactive and creative attitude with a particular commitment to teamwork.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience &amp; Qualification:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Minimum Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree level in Computers Science or related field.<br \/>\n5 to 8 year\u2019s minimum of experience in a similar position.<br \/>\n4-5 travels to Africa sites will be required<br \/>\nInternational Experience is an asset<br \/>\nExcellent understanding of ITIL process<br \/>\nHands-on<br \/>\nSelf-motivated, independent person while also being a string team player<br \/>\nFlexible,<br \/>\nProactive<br \/>\nCustomer oriented<br \/>\nSolution-oriented<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills<br \/>\nFluency in English, French an asset<\/p>\n<p><strong>Package &amp; Remuneration:<\/strong><br \/>\nTotal Cost of Employment, inclusive of Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance &amp; Critical Illness Insurance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnet.co.za\/public-api\/v1\/job-applications\/viewlet\/apply\/index?listingId=3574410&amp;isMobile=false&amp;buttonPos=Sticky_Button&amp;locale=en_ZA&amp;rltr=&amp;source=listing\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oryx Energies is one of Africa&#8217;s leading LPG distributors within the LPG Industry.
