Skills required:
\nDCS knowledge is required.
\nHoneywell TPS (TDC \u2013 LCN, UCN and Hiway) experience would be an advantage.
\nExcellent Communication skills \u2013 oral, written and presentation (English).
\nExperience working in a demanding customer-facing environment to perform under pressure.
\nMust be self-motivated, enthusiastic, well organized and have a strong sense of responsibility.
\nMicrosoft operating system knowledge would be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Be in possession of a valid driver\u2019s licence
\nHave own transport<\/p>\n
Education and experience:
\n\u2022National diploma in electrical \/ electronics \/ Instruments or equivalent qualification or Engineering Degree or equivalent technical qualification.<\/p>\n
\u2022At least 2 years experience in heavy industry<\/p>\n
Key performance areas:
\n\u2022Maintenance of the TDC 3000 and TDC 2000 systems and correcting and preventing failures according to customer service level agreements.
\n\u2022Perform scheduled system backups of the legacy TDC 3000 system.
\n\u2022Creation of maintenance reports.
\n\u2022Work as part of the Maintenance team on planned and unplanned activities.
\n\u2022Occasionally required to work with project staff on projects as allocated by Service Lead.
\n\u20221st line incident and problem management.
\n\u2022Work conducted in accordance with the instructions of the client in the agreed time, with high quality and profitability.
\n\u2022Identify, discuss and manage the risks and impact on the automation process and stakeholders.
\n\u2022Take pro-active initiative to strive for quality excellence.
\n\u2022Adhere to all applicable Honeywell Quality Assurance (QA) and service management procedures\/methods.
\n\u2022Interface with TAC where applicable for the roll out of solutions to installed base.
\n\u2022Compliance to safety standards and SHEQ.
\n\u2022Perform standby and respond to call outs if and when required.
\n\u2022Expected to work overtime from time to time.
\n\u2022Responsible for own time keeping and good record keeping.<\/p>\n
