\nThe General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, painting, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.<\/p>\n
\nPreferably a male (will be doing a lot of heavy lifting)
\nPerfect attendance record
\nFlexible shifts (7am-4pm & 8am-5pm)
\nMust NOT have any kind of disability
\nMust have sober habits
\nMust have a technical background
\nMatric required<\/p>\n
\nMust be semi-skilled in maintenance work
\nExperience in working with hand & power tools
\nComputer literate (able to operate with sending emails)
\nPersonality (have a good sense of humour)
\nGreat people management skills
\nAble to repair various equipment
\nMust be technically inclined
\nGreat attention to detail
\nA \u2018can do\u2019 attitude
\nWilling to go the extra mile with due diligence<\/p>\n
\nPerform basic tasks including painting, filling crevices and managing maintenance repairs across all Sigma properties.
\nPerform repairs on company equipment
\nLocker \u2013 Maintain, arranging lockers, performing lock cuts and locker repairs
\nMinor plumbing and drainage
\nMinor painting and floor coverings
\nAssociated minor maintenance
\nLight bulb replacement at reasonable heights
\nRefilling and monitoring of all water dispensers
\nRespond to client\u2019s maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
\nRepair plumbing, electrical and safety systems
\nMaintain organization and cleanliness of all storage and filing areas
\nComplete and update a weekly report sheet on all work completed
\nInform and report to line manager of completion of requests
\nArranging with appropriate supplier\/contractor around repairs required
\nConduct weekly H&S & security checks and ensure building is compliant
\nAssist in Covid screening as required<\/p>\n
