The IDM Group is currently seeking a Legal Administrator. The successful incumbent will act as a Legal Administrator in the Debt Management & Debt Counselling divisions of the group and will be part of a team of legal experts. The candidate must be highly efficient, energetic, motivated, ambitious, customer focused and analytical as well as being prepared to make a commitment to the business in the medium term. The candidate will be trained in all the in-house software programs, legal documents, efficient administration, query resolution and marketing.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Drafting of large volumes of court documents (notices of motion, court orders and service affidavits).
\n\u2022 Liaising with correspondent attorneys regarding court dates, court orders, and postponements.
\n\u2022 Liaising with clients.
\n\u2022 Liaising with credit providers.
\n\u2022 Updating of databases<\/p>\n
Key Requirements:
\n\u2022 Minimum of a degree, preferably LLB or BCom
\n\u2022 Experience in a legal \/financial orientated environment will be advantageous
\n\u2022 Legal acumen and a strong understanding of the financial industry
\n\u2022 Excellent Client service experience and skill
\n\u2022 Proven business writing and documentation experience<\/p>\n
Key competencies
\n\u2022 Strong administrative skills
\n\u2022 Strong capturing skills
\n\u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft excel
\n\u2022 Must be able to work under pressure
\n\u2022 Previous litigation experience will be advantageous.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the national credit act
\n\u2022 Experience in the field of debt review and debt review applications will be advantageous<\/p>\n
