Job Title: Accountant \/ Senior Bookkeeper – JHB<\/strong> Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong> Maintaining records of financial transactions<\/p>\n Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures<\/p>\n Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying, and allocating transactions<\/p>\n Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts<\/p>\n Maintaining a balanced general ledger<\/p>\n Manage the Administrative Team<\/p>\n Preparing a trial balance for the accountants<\/p>\n Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information<\/p>\n Ensure compliance with SARS legal requirements<\/p>\n Assisting in financial activities and generating invoices<\/p>\n Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n Work as a part of a global organization learning how to assist other accounting departments outside South Africa with their needs also.<\/p>\n Perform other ad-hoc tasks as necessary<\/p>\n Must have contactable references.<\/p>\n The candidate will work from home until we get offices again and should have a dedicated Fibre internet connection at home.
