\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nDefine and meet project objectives within the allocated time, budgeted cost, and at the proper performance or specification level.
\nEnsure project compliance documents are approved and all other project related documents are compiled, stored, and maintained throughout the project life cycle.
\nEnsure that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained, tracking all activities against the plan providing regular and accurate reports to senior management, and client\/user management as appropriate.
\nEnsure compliance of statutory regulations and governance relating to corporate and project office policies, POPIA, and processes and procedures
\nEnsure projects are closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and lessons learned are captured and action Project Status Reporting
\nManage Project Budgets
\nCompile and submit project projections to senior management within agreed timeframes and manage variances timeously.
\nProvide Earned value reporting and responses to earned value output.
\nDefine and manage Project schedules.
\nDefine and manage Project quality plans, reports and metrics.
\nIdentify and manage Project risk and issue management.
\nMonitor and control of the project to ensure aligned with scope, quality, cost and schedule.
\nThird party management and\/or ensure third party contracts are aligned to delivery.
\nProject resource management
\nProvide your team with direction and vision by motivating individuals to perform.
\nGovernance and communication establishment and maintenance throughout project lifecycle
\nProgramme management (may be a requirement)
\nPortfolio Management (may be a requirement)
\nInput and maintain all SciForma and JIRA data and information.
\nSupport the sales function within Adapt IT e.g., provide input to proposals around estimates, solution and plans.
\nSupport the account management functions within Adapt IT
\nSupport the Managed Services functions within Adapt IT
\nActively live out the Adapt IT values and where applicable assist others in doing so
\nAccountability
\nEnsure support monthly\/quarterly reports are submitted timeously for signature and slide deck is updated for Quarterly Review
\nAdministration including document, JIRA, Sciforma and SharePoint management.
\nAssist with Development prioritization, planning and scheduling.
\nAssist to define and drive policies affecting the PMO when required.
\nAssist the Adapt IT Professional Services Delivery Manager with the completion of KPI and IDP documents for the developer Team.
\nLiaise with Business, Development and Technical Support to ensure that Products are developed, tested & launched.
\nManaging and resolving all escalations that are raised.
\nManage scope, time, cost, and profit of projects.
\nDemonstrate Leadership in the project environment and within the delivery team.
\nClient\/Stakeholder management, communication, and relationship management\/building
\nMentor, develop, inspire, and identify opportunities for improvement and encourage teamwork by providing good leadership to project teams.
\nLead and directs multiple projects, programmes and\/or portfolios.
\nEnsure project quality in all stages in the software development lifecycle.
\nPrepare project, quality, and risk plans.
\nAssign work to project teams and monitor outcomes to manage the project successfully.
\nDemonstrate awareness and understanding of POPIA in all areas of project management.
\nAbility to work within a multi discipline team and being a strong team player.
\nAbility to advise repetitive delays factually and suggest improvement programs.
\nAbility to lead solution crafting if required.
\nAbility to transfer knowledge and lessons learnt into project teams.
\nAbility to coordinate and lead implementations with the customer if required.
\nAbility to work with selected tools including SciForma and JIRA.
\nAbility to interact & communicate with customers from different countries, cultures & languages.
\nManage project financials:
\nEnsure Invoice Milestones are set up monthly on JIRA and are updated accordingly.
\nEnsure that JIRA and Sciforma are aligned.
\nAttend the Monthly Forecast meeting between the PMO and Operations teams.
\nEnsure that monthly DAC\u2019s are signed, GRN numbers are received and assist with Invoicing.
\nEnsure the tracking of all time logged and that timesheets are up to date for your resources.<\/p>\n
\nEducation & Qualification:<\/strong>
\nRelevant Degree\/Diploma
\nA qualification in project management would be advantageous.
\nRelevant Experience
\nMust have 4 – 7 years of implementing mid to large technology projects
\nExperience in understanding integration of complex systems.
\nSolid Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience.
\nKnowledge and application of PMI Code of Conduct.
\nDirect work experience in project management capacity.
\nProven experience in people management.
\nProven experience in quality management.
\nProven experience in risk management.
\nProven experience in change\/transition management.
\nExperience or knowledge of program management is advantageous.
\nProven experience in managing 3rd parties.
\nBroad project management methodology knowledge.
\nKnowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
\nAn over-riding commitment to the project\u2019s success, user satisfaction and teamwork.
\nExperience in any of the following will be advantageous.
\nA background in software development experience would be advantageous.
\nExperience in implementing Telecoms applications would be advantageous.
\nExperience in project management software e.g., SciForma, JIRA, MS Project etc.
