Job Title: IT Coordinator – HR Management<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> This role is responsible for facilitating all key HR functions and programs for the IT team providing a professional service related to the entire HR fraternity, from policies and procedures, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development and ad hoc administration. \nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nOVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:<\/p>\n
\nParticipate and support Infrastructure and Operational projects and programs related to Resource management, concerning time and cost
\nMaintain a high standard of quality and effectiveness concerning administration including effective mailbox management
\nContinuously communicate with team members and Management and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
\nPerforming ad-hoc duties and administration as required.
\nProduce and submit reports on general HR activity as required
\nAssist and \/ or prepare correspondence as required and ensure distribution thereof
\nCreate, implement and evaluate all IT Human Resource department policies, procedures, standards and structures
\nCompile and communicate guidelines for HR procedures, ie. Training, travel claims, leave allowances etc.
\nReview IT HR policy timeously, aligned with Service level agreements
\nEnsuring updated guidelines and policies are readily distributed and available to employees
\nMaintain IT personnel Recruitment and Disciplinary processes in line with the overall IT personnel policies and procedures.
\nUnderstand the current and future demand for human resources to support the achievement of IT objectives and to deliver services and solutions based on the portfolio of current IT-related initiatives, the future investment portfolio and day-to-day operational needs.
\nEvaluate staffing requirements regularly or upon major changes. Ensure that both the enterprise and the IT function have sufficient resources to support enterprise goals and objectives, business processes and controls, and IT-enabled initiatives adequately and appropriately.
\nIdentify shortfalls and provide input into resource strength plans as well as enterprise and IT recruitment processes
\nFacilitate labour budgets and resource strength planning processes and ensure it is aligned with departmental needs
\nEnsuring resource Organograms are updated and distributed timeously with all labour changes<\/p>\n
\nMatric Certificate
\nAppropriate HR related tertiary qualification
\nITIL Certification (RECOMMENDED \/ ADVANTAGOUS)<\/p>\n
\n5 years HR Generalist experience
\nGood record-keeping and organisation
\nGood Computer Literacy \u2013 MS Office products
\nWorking effectively as part of a team and seek to support the team goals
\nComplete understanding of stakeholder relationship management
\nExposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
\nAbility to deal with senior levels of client\/user personnel.
\nStrong client service skills including the ability to deal with all levels as customer service skills are critical.
\nEffective HR administration and people management skills.
\nFull understanding of HR functions and best practices
\nExposure to payroll practices
\nFantastic organizational and time management skills.
\nStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
