Job Title: IT Systems Analyst<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Ekurhuleni (East Rand)<\/p>\n
\nThe incumbent will be responsible for the support and ongoing maintenance of the Information Management Systems in the Applications Team. You will work on the implementation of projects from inception to completion, make sure various integrations are supported and maintained, and keep up to date with system capabilities and market trends.<\/p>\n
\nDesigns new ICT Solutions by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications;
\nImproves systems by studying current practices and designing modifications;
\nRecommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures;
\nMaintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures;
\nProvides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support and training users;
\nMaintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential;
\nPrepares technical reports by collecting; analysing; summarizing information and trends;
\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
\nPromoting Process Improvement;
\nFamiliar with testing methodology and able to perform unit testing on software;
\nDevelop reporting according to specifications from the business.
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nAn applicable IT degree or IT technical equivalent qualification
\nIn-depth knowledge of business systems and operations;
\nERP System experience;
\nProcess Improvement Experience.
\nBe sensitive to deadlines;
\nBe able to interact in a team environment;
\nAdapt quickly to change;
\nDeep attention to detail and possesses excellent analytical, problem solving and customer service skills;
\nAbility and aptitude to continuously search for enhancements and innovation;
\nAbility to work under pressure and deliver within agreed Service Level Agreements;
