Currently, Teltonika Morocco (a subsidiary of Teltonika IoT Group) is looking for a Networking and IoT Engineer to join us in our South African Office. In this position, you will report into the Teltonika Network and Routers Support team supporting the sales team that sells products such as but not limited to industrial routers, gateways, switches, and ethernet solutions.<\/p>\n

\nIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:<\/strong>
\nGuide employees and customers on how to use Teltonika Networks devices and solutions (consult, provide trainings)
\nSolve technical issues and ensure prevention
\nConstantly supervise and prepare the devices technical documentation
\nAssess customer needs in the local region, in topics such as, but not limited to, new features, raise proposals for implementation and supervise implementation process
\nParticipate in direct communication with clients to answer technical questions (conference calls, visits to clients)
\nPerform quality assurance tasks before providing solution to customer
\nCoordinate queries with R&D, Production, QA and Supply management.
\nTrain internal Sales Managers & Clients on internal configuration systems and devices.
\nWE BELIEVE THAT YOU:
\nAre fluent in English (both spoken and written) as it will be your primary working language
\nHave technical \/ engineering education
\nCan analyse and solve complex technical problems
\nHave excellent communication skills
\nAre a self-starter that is solution orientated and will find ways to gather information to solve complex tasks
\nHave working knowledge of software and operating system principles
\nHave knowledge of computer network architecture and technologies
\nHave knowledge of server operating principles and technologies, programming languages
\nHave basics of telecommunication systems and technologies
\nAre able to prepare technical documentation
\nAre able and experience configuring VLANs, QoS
\nAre able and experience configuring various industrial IoT protocols: Modbus, MQTT, TR-069, JSON-RPC
\nHave experience working with embedded, Linux-based operating system
\nHave good knowledge and ability to work with SDK
\nHave good problem solving (troubleshooting) skills
\nHave knowledge and ability to use \u201cAT\u201ccommands
\nAre able to write simple bash\/ash scripts
\nHave knowledge of Firewall principles, ability, and experience configuring Firewall with IPTABLES
