Job Title: IT Technical Project Manager – TSS<\/strong> The Key Performance Areas of this role will be as follows :<\/strong> Requirements<\/strong>: Desirable:<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Cape Town North<\/p>\n
\nMaintaining a strategic view over the programme, by establishing the right governance approach to achieve the desired outcomes of the programme. Ensuring clear communication and adoption by both the direct project teams, as well as the broader stakeholder groups across the organisation (internal & external)
\nThe identification, planning, direction and coordination of activities to manage and implement a complex a programme of business change. This requires the ability to lead and influence across the broader TFG Group
\nManagement of cross-functional and cross-business interdependencies in support of specific programme strategies and objectives, and alignment with business and organisation strategies and objectives
\nResponsible for monitoring and reporting, ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, budget and on time. Overall management of project deliverables, ensuring right-sized governance and standards are adhered to. Continuous and proactive management of risks (business, technical & commercial), ensuring mitigation plans are in place and agreed (management reporting and metrics)
\nResponsible for accurate cost management, monthly variance management and monitoring of budgets (R250k – R25m) and operational costs (if applicable), supported by comprehensive reporting.
\nResource Management – identification of and negotiation for resources required, both internal and external. Management (and selection) of external services as required. Proactive management of capacity and capability shortfalls to ensure that resources and structures are correctly aligned to meet both strategic and operational objectives
\nMaintaining positive relationships with vendors and external partners, in accordance with Group values
\nResponsible for the Transfer to Operations by the establishment of a Change Team to ensure execution and adoption of our people change management framework across all stakeholder groups across the broader TFG. Resource and guide the Change Team appropriately to ensure minimal disruption and smooth transition of change into the business<\/p>\n
\nRelevant tertiary education
\nProject Management certification
\n8 to 10 years of IT Infrastructure-related project management experience
\n5+ years relevant experience managing large, complex projects
\n5+ years relevant experience in managing complex cross-functional teams often involving external suppliers
\nMust have in-depth understanding of network infrastructure and IT hardware<\/p>\n
\nPrince 2 Certification
\nBroad experience and knowledge of the retail industry
\nIT management \/ support in a retail environment
\nUnderstanding of:
\nMicrosoft licensing
\nSoftware Development Lifecycle
\nDevOps
\nRetail environment
