\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nOperational Delivery:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nAttract and select the right people in the organisation and ensure that new employees are optimally on-boarded into the organisation.
\nTrain new employees on Performance Management process, support line management around the annual and review performance management process and bonus rules and facilitate consultations regarding performance issues.
\nProvide counsel and direction to employees and managers on employment related matters and conduct investigations in response to formal complaints.
\nAdvise on, identify and coordinate learning interventions and provide career development guidance and assistance to employees and managers.
\nAdvise management on salary benchmarking and co-ordinate the annual salary increase, bonus processes and recognition programme.
\nEnsure HR data is compliant, security of accurate and compile HR reports requested by the HR Management team.<\/p>\n
\nAssists management with the development of Job Profiles and Specifications.
\nCreate requisitions on HRIS recruitment system.
\nMonitor recruitment requisitions and guide the full cycle recruitment process for nominated roles and facilitating communication with the resourcing department on vacancies and placement gaps.
\nCoordinate resources for assessment and participate in interview and other activities appropriate.
\nCreate and ensure all new employees are taken through an induction presentation.
\nAdministration and Reporting<\/p>\n
\nEnsure data integrity on all relevant systems
\nAudit, track and update headcount, organizational structures continuously on the HRIS System, and Payroll system
\nAudits employee benefits and ensures that payroll is implementing the relevant deductions
\nProvides regular and thorough HR reporting back to the Head of HR and the Business area managers as required.
\nAddresses all payroll issues in a timely manner.
\nUpdates the HR systems with all relevant information.
\nUpdates headcount and attrition reports and maintains an accurate staff list at all times.
\nDuplication of all processes and procedures within a full 24 hour, 7 day a week HR support structure.<\/p>\n
\nAdvises on, and implements disciplinary processes as required and in accordance with legislation and company policy.
\nSupports and ensures preparedness of line management in disciplinary matters.
\nDocuments and minutes the results of all disciplinary hearings.
\nBrings any out-of line situation to management\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n
\nAdvises and ensures implementation of performance management for all permanent and contract employees.
\nRolls out HR initiatives as required for Group HR and Merchants.
\nContinuous alignment of job requirements with legislative parameters in mind to best support operation.<\/p>\n
\nInforms line mangers in respect of advisory services available to employees.
\nCo-ordinates wellness day activities.
\nRecognises new trends and patterns of behavior and alerts management.<\/p>\n
\nRelevant B Degree or equivalent (NQF 7) qualification essential<\/p>\n
