Well established ISP and Telecoms company is hiring for an experienced Technical Voice Manager with at least 5 years experience.<\/p>\n
The Technical Voice Manager has the responsibility of looking after the daily technical operations of the Operations department for the Voice Field Team.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Technical Voice Manager<\/strong> Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong> Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organisation’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.<\/p>\n Manage the day-to-day technical operations of the Technical department.<\/p>\n Asset tracking: Spec of current assets internal and external and their traceability and management<\/p>\n Contribute to the Planning of Schedules and understanding the different levels of work required in different focus areas from a Technical Standpoint<\/p>\n Change control procedures \u2014 enforcement, planning as well as communication to internal\/external customers<\/p>\n Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for daily operations<\/p>\n New technology review and proposal to EXCO for investment<\/p>\n Regular Meetings and minutes with tasks and outcomes – internal and with 3rd parties<\/p>\n Time Management of all Technical Teams.<\/p>\n Conducting weekly meetings with teams to complete all check list items (Tools, vehicles, stock etc)<\/p>\n Planning and assessment of all Technical\/voice capabilities as well as recommendations for advancement in key areas<\/p>\n Enforcing Vehicle Management Practices<\/p>\n Enforcing Health and Safety Practices<\/p>\n Enforcing Quality Assessment, training and best practice across all site builds and fibre areas<\/p>\n Training Staff on Technologies and Network advances<\/p>\n Managing Technical Staff from a KPI perspective<\/p>\n Compiling status reports and progress reports as required<\/p>\n Configuring maintaining and updating Training Material<\/p>\n Liaising with all departments and technical resources involved when required<\/p>\n Providing feedback at meetings regarding project status<\/p>\n Keeping stakeholders informed of issues and progress<\/p>\n Undertaking necessary, on the job, or external learning and development to ensure the success of the infrastructure teams.<\/p>\n Knowledge, Soft Skills & Abilities Required:<\/strong> Desired Experience & Qualification Experienced resource with management experience<\/p>\n Extensive customer service experience<\/p>\n Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n Must have extensive experience in managing a technical team<\/p>\n Must have hands on experience \/ background in Voice \/ VOIP and preferably skilled in below technologies which the team is skilled in.<\/p>\n Technical team skills consist of:<\/strong><\/p>\n Routing
