Job Title: Warehouse Operator<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> \/\/ Continuous physical stock counting using bar-code scanners in all areas of the stores.<\/p>\n \/\/ Identification of stock inaccuracies, analyses and problem solving.<\/p>\n \/\/ Advising the operating management of inventory discrepancies,recommend improvements in the system and implement where necessary.<\/p>\n \/\/ Perform stock adjustments in accordance with procedures.<\/p>\n \/\/ Ensure that stock write offs due to stock redundancies and expiries are kept to a minimum.<\/p>\n \/\/ Comply with a safe working environment, by ensuring that hazardous materials are stored according to regulatory requirements, all SHEQ programs and responsibilities are participated in and safe working practices are adhered to.<\/p>\n \/\/ Good housekeeping standards must be maintained.<\/p>\n Desired Experience & Qualification:<\/strong> \/\/ Must be able to add and subtract.<\/p>\n \/\/ Must be able to speak in English and Afrikaans would be an advantage.<\/p>\n \/\/ A Diploma in Warehouse or Inventory management or equivalent<\/p>\n \/\/ Valid Forklift Driver\u2019s licence<\/p>\n \/\/ Minimum of 1 year warehouse bin management experience.<\/p>\n \/\/ Minimum of 2 years inventory management system experience<\/p>\n \/\/ SAP: knowledge of Material Requirements<\/p>\n \/\/ Planning, Inventory Management and bin management using the barcode scanner.<\/p>\n \/\/ Good communication and people skills to interact with internal and external customers.<\/p>\n \/\/ Good understanding of accounting practices.<\/p>\n \/\/ Ability to solve problems<\/p>\n \/\/ Good knowledge in MS Excel & MS Word.<\/p>\n Interested?

\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\/\/ Responsible for maintaining an ongoing cycle counting system of raw, packing and semi materials and proper batch management to ensure the overall accuracy thereof.<\/p>\n
