Job Title: Network \/ IT Support Engineer<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Sandton<\/p>\n
\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nTroubleshooting user issues \/ network issues \/ server issues \/ email issues \/ connectivity issues
\nMaintain and manage the client relationship and be an ambassador for our business
\nRestoring servers and client data, using varying backup products
\nGood understanding of firewalls and security, willing to learn Sophos and associated products
\nManage anti-virus endpoints on servers and workstations
\nLearn and manage Ninja RMM deployments
\nProvide feedback to the VNS and onsite client managers
\nIdentify sales opportunities or hardware replacements etc.
\nIdentify possible projects to enhance client infrastructure, processes and experience
\nMaintain client on-site and offsite backups
\nMaintain client server infrastructure (cloud and on-site)
\nGood understanding of internet, VPN and connectivity products
\nGood understanding of switching, cabling, VLAN’s, and fibre
\nAttend to end user support calls in a timely manner
\nSetup and configure workstations for new users
\nDesired Experience & Qualification
\nMinimum of 3 years in an IT support position
\nA+, N+ qualification
\nMicrosoft MCSA\/MCSE\/MCITP or similar certification
\nMicrosoft MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure will be advantageous
\nCCNA \/ CCNP\/CCIE qualificationwill be advantageous
\nSophos firewall experience will be advantageous
\nSophos endpoint security will be advantageous
\nVeeam backup and Replication will be advantageous
\nRMM Experience will be advantageous
\nITIL will be advantageous
\nOffice 365 MCSA will be advantageous
\nLinux knowledge & experience will be advantageous
\nInfosec knowledge & experiencewill be advantageous<\/p>\n
