Sea Export Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Durban<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market-Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong> Logistics<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> JHB002768\/RD<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Vocational work and thinking level<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of customs<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good Microsoft Office skills<\/li>\n<li>Financial awareness<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and local language<\/li>\n<li>Needs preferably 3-5 years of experience in export freight forwarding<\/li>\n<li>Cargowise and Ship Shape experience would be advantageous<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><u>Job Description<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Air &amp; Sea Exports<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Arrange freight services for customers, aligned with customer&#8217;s freight management needs and in line with (CS) SOP, GW and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Review customer&#8217;s freight requests and select appropriate carrier<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate gathering and hand-over of freight documents<\/li>\n<li>Framing of Export Air and Sea Customs Bills of Entry and Cargo dues \/ Shipping Orders<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and confirm arrival of freight to customer<\/li>\n<li>Execute client contact and align customer needs and services provided.<\/li>\n<li>Pricing &amp; Tariffs : Provide customers with rate request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Gather documents and information, process and set-up files and ensure proper handover of files and documentation, in line with the company and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure proper administration of files and enable a clear overview of operational activities.<\/li>\n<li>Gather information and documentation from customers and set-up files in the operational system<\/li>\n<li>Break down documents from airline or shipper and calculate charges, process in operational system<\/li>\n<li>Close files, pass invoices and credit memos<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper hand over of documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Customer Business Implementation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Implement new customer contracts and coordinate the correct execution of accompanying (CS) OP&#8217;s, aligned with SLA, GW and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support with development of new (CS)SOP&#8217;s in cooperation with sales and Customer Business Implementation<\/li>\n<li>Align new customer (CS) SOPs within team and provide colleagues with support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2012628?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dcircastaff%26vacancy_ref%3dJHB002768%2fRD%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\">Click here!<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client who is a leading global logistics and freight company is looking for an Air &amp;
