We understand that every project we take on is another step towards building accessible, sustainable communities for the future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Various Locations &#8211; Western Cape, KZN &amp; North West<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement HR processes as defined by the Centers of Excellence (e.g., performance management, annual compensation, training initiatives, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Work with the business unit, Centers of Excellence, and HR Shared Services to help implement HR policies and programs<\/li>\n<li>Assess the current state of the business unit, proactively identify issues, and collaborate with other HR Offices to develop programs and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to support the business\u2019 talent agenda and make recommendations to develop appropriate solutions<\/li>\n<li>Understand the business unit\u2019s operating environment and apply awareness of the business unit\u2019s operational goals and objectives when implementing HR programs and addressing escalated HR issues<\/li>\n<li>Manages BU-specific HR and talent projects; keeps leaders apprised of progress, risks, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identify, analyze, and assess any BU strategies\/initiatives, etc. that may pose a risk to the organization and influence the plans needed to address the risks<\/li>\n<li>Support delivery of diversity and inclusion HR programs or initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business unit managers and employees and work closely with them to implement solutions to meet their current and future business needs<\/li>\n<li>Serve as employee advocate when involved in the design and\/or implementation of HR programs<\/li>\n<li>Guide, Engage, Lead and Inspire your team of HR professionals<\/li>\n<li>Build and Maintain key stakeholder relationships with HR Leadership, Business Leadership, wider HR community and Employees<\/li>\n<li>Champion and enable effective cross-functional working relationships to create and drive an integrated HR employee experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance\/Talent Management Process Execution<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate effective succession planning process and ongoing development conversations, partnering with executives to identify and proactively develop the next generation of leaders<\/li>\n<li>Coach and advise line managers on organizational effectiveness and general HR issues, and provide basic Employee Relations guidance prior to escalating cases to appropriate parties<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance management cycle throughout the year, promote manager and employee participation in performance management activities, and engage them to meet performance management deadlines and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Resolve HR operations issues\/problems for business unit and liaise with Centers of Excellence \/ HR Shared Services for information as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Liaison between the business and Learning experts to identify talent business needs (learning, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"listing-content-provider-u98g2w\" data-genesis-element=\"TEXT\" data-at=\"section-heading\"><span class=\"listing-content-provider-17phoia\" data-genesis-element=\"BASE\">Desired Experience &amp; Qualification<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Human Resources<\/li>\n<li>Post Grad in HR or related will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 8-10 years HR experience as a business partner<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles<\/li>\n<li>An ability to demonstrate high personal impact and influence to build a strong, trusted advisor relationship with business leaders<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of country\/region specific regulations, policies<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated and practical knowledge of the Business Partnering Model<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To Apply<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnet.co.za\/viewlets\/apply\/job-apply-form-viewlet\/authentication?listingId=3617095&amp;isMobile=false&amp;buttonPos=Bottom_Button&amp;locale=en_ZA&amp;rltr=&amp;source=listing\">Click here!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Lafarge South Africa, we have a bold vision to shape our future into something extraordinary.
