Together, we nurture careers, grow connections, and want our talent to be the best version of themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Forensic Services<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Westville<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Investment\u00a0Legal<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> 59216<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Lead the Forensics team, providing strategic guidance on how to best support the business, keep our employees and customers safe<\/li>\n<li>Apply a proactive, risk-based approach to the identification, investigation and management of flags across the Forensic department<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate specific processes to support the implementation and execution of forensic investigations<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and action (where applicable) any perpetrations<\/li>\n<li>Educate the business on the correct policies and procedures to mitigate fraud risk<\/li>\n<li>Protect the business against any fraudulent activity posed across all channels including claims (management of external forensic service providers)<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all quality and forensic related investigations that may pose a business risk and provide accurate feedback to the relevant department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities \/ Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Lead Forensic Investigator<\/li>\n<li>Track trends to identify perpetrations and implement mitigation plans<\/li>\n<li>To track, trend and report on all investigations<\/li>\n<li>Drive solutions on issues uncovered<\/li>\n<li>Investigate all irregularities relating to fraud \/ criminality reported in the business (eg. fraudulent claims, fraudulent sales, misuse of company property etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Pro-actively monitor reports across the business to identify possible trends and \/ or fraudulent activities (eg. refunds report, Telesales capture report, abused calls report, activity logger, duplication report, send backs, call backs and claims trends)<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all appropriate role players regarding all investigations (eg. SAPS, external investigators)<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for providing weekly \/ monthly reports on statuses and current workflow of all ongoing investigations \u2013 Including filling of all evidence where required<\/li>\n<li>Pro-actively assist all business departments by informing, investigating, and monitoring areas of the business that may be most at risk to fraud and \/ or abuse of company property where the business stands to lose eg. Expense claims monitoring, addressing teams with appropriate information and or around risk \/ security, advise Administrators on POPI etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ADHOC tasks to be dealt with within the department (eg. operations and maintenance of security systems within the business, requirements by Head of Forensics \u2013 statements, collections of documents etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that criminal charges are laid whenever a crime has been perpetrated within or against The Unlimited<\/li>\n<li>Representing The Unlimited in criminal matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Degree \/ Diploma in Forensic Investigation, Internal Audit, Chartered Accountant<\/li>\n<li>7-8 years relevant forensic experience of which, 5 years should be at a management level within a corporate environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience within the life insurance industry, including claims fraud investigations (an advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with forensic data analysis (using structured data)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Conflict resolution<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Report writing<\/li>\n<li>Analytical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Characteristics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Driven to make a difference<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving ability<\/li>\n<li>Sense of urgency<\/li>\n<li>Deadline driven<\/li>\n<li>Emotionally Resilient<\/li>\n<li>Courageous<\/li>\n<li>Vulnerable<\/li>\n<li>Conscious<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2015575\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> June 08 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We bring together brilliant people to deliver work that impacts businesses and changes society.
