With a focus on the provision of qualified and experienced personnel, INTELLISTAFF provides industry leading permanent, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutions to corporate South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Engineering (Solar)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Somerset West<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Engineering<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> JHB002783\/SS<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client in the renewable energy space is urgently looking to employ a Head of Engineering (Solar) at their organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li><em>Pr Eng \/ Pr Tech required<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Experience in\u00a0Electrical\/Renewable Energy Engineering<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>5+ years of experience in a similar role<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li><em>Update Managing Director and Finance Manager on Project Issues by issuing a weekly progress report<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Optimizing each design to minimize the installation and construction costs of each project.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Overseeing and training Design Engineers in their daily tasks<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Provide input to project managers to assist them in completing their projects in a timely and cost-effective manner<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Provide feedback and input to the sales team to advise the client regarding the best suitable solution for their needs.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Keep up to date with the latest products and specifications by communicating with vendors on a regular basis.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Attend customer meetings and presentations throughout sales cycle, if necessary.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Conduct all commissioning verification checks on all projects and provide the required handover documents to clients in a timely manner at the end of each project<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Monitoring of all site&#8217;s performance and highlight concerns to O&amp;M department.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Populate and review BOQ&#8217;s where required<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Provide and present a monthly tech review on latest market trends<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Complete any additional ad hoc tasks requested by Senior Management<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Overseeing and ensuring that project post-mortem analysis is presented to the Managing Director and Financial Manager<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Compile non-conforming reports received from Project Managers for performance review at the end of the year and share with the Managing Director and Financial Manager<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Compiling reports on overall project budget and timing (keep track of all projects post-mortems and compile into one document to allow annual performance analysis<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>By liaising with the Head of Business Development, Head of Operations and Financial Manager, optimize and reduce stand down as much as possible<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Allocate all projects to construction teams and sub-contractors and keep the Action Map updated at all times<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ensuring quality control are adhered to on all sites.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ensuring project managers are able to fulfil all duties<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Complete any additional ad hoc tasks requested by Senior Management<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2015964?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dcircastaff%26vacancy_ref%3dJHB002783%2fSS%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> June 09 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INTELLISTAFF is a generalist recruitment company providing staff at all organizational levels across all disciplines.
