Understanding that the success of the company can be attributed to its people, Newsclip invests in and is committed to developing its employees as there is no limit to personal growth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Content Creator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> West Rand<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Advertising\u00a0Marketing\u00a0PR &amp; Communication<br \/>\n<strong>Benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0Pension<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> CC2023.2<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The role of the Content Creator is to create informative and original articles for media update, as well as blog posts for Newsclip and affiliate brands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content Creation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Create original content for media update.<\/li>\n<li>Identify topics of interest for media update articles, Q&amp;As, blogs and social posts.<\/li>\n<li>Create articles in various formats such as long and short form written content, quote images, infographics, and videos.<\/li>\n<li>Interview various sources to gather information for original stories and Q&amp;A\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Write social media posts for original content and press releases for the assigned platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Research relevant topics to identify areas of interest for readers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify topics of interest and create blogs for Newsclip and affiliate brands when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Proofread and edit content, spelling, grammar, and punctuation of content produced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Platforms:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Use Dash efficiently in order to upload images and embed media links.<\/li>\n<li>Use graphic software effectively, such as Canva.<\/li>\n<li>Use social media scheduling tools to manage published content.<\/li>\n<li>Use analytics tools for various social platforms to compile social performance insights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administrations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Effectively make use of project management tools such as Asana, workflow and Restya.<\/li>\n<li>Post articles onto the relevant calendars with categories, working title and deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Share knowledge of trends to improve the media update platform and social media initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Keep up with local and international trends in media, marketing, public relations, and social media.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct adequate research to ensure information is complete and accurate.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to check the credibility of different sources used and list sources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Communicate ideas with the team and participate in brainstorming sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Attend weekly meetings with media update and all relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective communication on a regular basis on the various communication platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with Newsclip and affiliate brands for information regarding blogs and social media posts.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Development teams to ensure all technical queries are resolved.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with PR agencies regarding potential interviews and events.<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant industry events as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Completed degree in a relevant field of studies such as languages, communication, journalism, or creative writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>2-5 years&#8217; experience of writing in the fields of journalism and creative writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>High attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to convey messages in a creative manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage and coordinate deadlines and projects.<\/li>\n<li>Effective and efficient written and verbal communication.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2021720\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 22 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Newsclip was founded in 1983 and has since continued to grow as an industry-leading, national media monitoring company.
