Sentinel Staffing Services has an extensive database of top quality clients and candidates in a permanent\/contract capacity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Centurion<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Engineering<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> CET003853\/MO<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are searching for a Senior Civil Engineer for a global Engineering Project and Product Development House in Centurion who work in the oil &amp; gas, mining, infrastructure, energy, and health sectors.<br \/>\nThe Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of large-scale projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Duties<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Creating construction plans using CAD software<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing plans for structural soundness and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that construction meets specifications<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring construction progress to ensure safe conditions for workers and quality workmanship<\/li>\n<li>Performing cost estimates for projects to determine project feasibility, budget needs, and prices of materials<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the design of plans for new structures, including buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Developing specifications for materials used in construction projects based on research into available materials<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and direction to civil engineering staff, ensuring their compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and codes<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and regularly review engineering processes and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity<\/li>\n<li>Develop plans for new engineering initiatives, including investigating new technologies and developing plans for new project implementations<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain cost estimates for projects and programs<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an awareness of emerging technologies and their possible impact on the field of civil engineering<\/li>\n<li>Promote the image of the civil engineering profession by upholding professional ethics and standards, and by participating in professional organizations<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and resolve engineering problems and demonstrate effective skills in oral and written communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements and Skills:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Environmental Engineering<\/li>\n<li>10+ years\u2019 experience in the engineering field with at least 3 of those years in Engineering Management<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in managing technical projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The salary package is highly negotiable based on experience, education, and current remuneration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2022300?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dsentinel%26vacancy_ref%3dCET003853%2fMO%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 23 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sentinel Staffing Services has been providing a professional recruitment solution to employers and job seekers in all industries since 1999.
