A Research Specialist is both an analytical and a strategic thinker who performs well under pressure. He\/she will be responsible for Supplier Management and should be able to manage internal teams\u2019 demands while ensuring quality outputs and clearly articulated insights are delivered.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Manage panel\/community projects from start to end.<\/li>\n<li>Adept at translating client needs into an appropriate insights solution.<\/li>\n<li>Questionnaire design to meet research objectives<\/li>\n<li>Scripting survey on the online platform, deploying the survey to the community, managing response rates, setting up tables.<\/li>\n<li>Exporting data \/ tables, application of data weights, analysing results, report setup, populating, adding insights, and presenting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills especially when working with large data sets.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to drive automation and dashboard design projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse social media performance<\/li>\n<li>Provide relevant consumer and strategic insights.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate will all team members within the Research Department to meet key deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Develop close and knowledgeable relationships with all key members of the brand, marketing and commercial, and other relevant teams.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present regular performance reports for various levels of the business with a focus on drawing out higher level insights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>3+ years Market Research experience, qualitative and quantitative (experience within media research will be advantageous).<\/li>\n<li>Holds a degree in economics, marketing, sociology, psychology, science, research, statistics, or business, preferably a post-graduate qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English (spoken and written)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft and Office tools; specifically Teams, MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Experience in designing and managing ad hoc quantitative research projects from questionnaire design, execution, and analytics to delivering insight reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to look beyond numbers and interpret and transform key research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to question existing methods\/theories and develop new approaches to research.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of data systems and how to interpret the resultant information (e.g., Techedge, AMPS, native social media analytics, Talkwalker etc).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be diplomatic with a high level of cultural sensitivity.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be objective, discreet and thorough.<\/li>\n<li>High tolerance for ambiguity and change.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a Team.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with on-line research survey tools, including but not limited to, Alchemer, Survey Monkey etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2024335\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> June 29 2023<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note: As all IQbusiness roles require honesty in the handling of or access to cash, finances, financial systems, or confidential information; our recruitment process requires that the following background checks be completed: credit, criminal, ID, and qualification verification<br \/>\n<\/em><em><br \/>\nIQbusiness is committed to sustainable growth and transformation, we embrace diversity and employ previously disadvantaged individuals<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IQbusiness is the leading independent management consulting firm in South Africa, helping clients overcome their business challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
