The Individual will be responsible to assist and provide efficient administrative support.\u00a0 The successful incumbent will be required to work under pressure, unsupervised and must be willing to work on standby and occasionally overtime as and when required. This role will be required to work on a rotational shift system which may include night shift from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB SPECIFICATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maintenance<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Monitor machine performance<\/li>\n<li>Performing daily checks and routine inspections on equipment and reporting\/repairing faults<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate preventative maintenance activities<\/li>\n<li>Attending to equipment breakdowns and identifying mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults on equipment<\/li>\n<li>Minimise and reduce engineering out maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Planning<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Execute maintenance strategies per specific area for division<\/li>\n<li>Schedule compliance with job cards etc. manually completed<\/li>\n<li>Execute jobs allocated via job cards during shutdown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cost Control<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Immediately report on defective or machinery that requires attention to avoid massive costs<\/li>\n<li>Manage the cost of materials, time and labour effectively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>People<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Ensure skills transfer<\/li>\n<li>Compliance to own training matrix<\/li>\n<li>Achieve output as set out in KPD\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safety<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Perform risk assessments and critical equipment for every job<\/li>\n<li>Management of loss of work, ensure kept extremely to the minimum. Assist with Shutdown planning and execute<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to lock out procedure and permit to work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience as a Fitter in a Food Processing or similar environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>NQF 4 or Equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Fitter Qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES &amp; KNOWLEDGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Understanding of the operation and maintenance of the following:\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Food Processing equipment ie.
