PERSONA is committed to delivering the best service to our clients and candidates.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Planner<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town Northern Suburbs<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Logistics<br \/>\n<strong>Benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0Medical Aid &amp; Pension Fund<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> CPT003808\/IP<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client is a global leader in its industry, and they have an opportunity available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Planner within their Supply Chain Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Run MRP, create purchase requisitions based on MRP and communicate to procurement, create production orders\u00a0 Create, change, and close BOMs.<\/li>\n<li>Create production schedule and follow up to ensure adherence to schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Manage outsourced orders process (pick slips, receiving of stock and documentation).<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for proper storage and stock keeping of inventories.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate regular cycle counts and adjust inventories with authorisation from manager.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and coordinate year-end stock take for relevant product groups.<\/li>\n<li>Create, maintain, and adjust BOMs for current product groups, phantoms, and items.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain routing of items.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain master data parameters.<\/li>\n<li>Create and extend new items within current product groups.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with customer service as required and give feedback on ETAs.<\/li>\n<li>Close production orders and compare with BOMs (ZPW01).<\/li>\n<li>Maintain SO99+ and manage inventory alerts.<\/li>\n<li>Complete second late line reason in OTD report (ZV152).<\/li>\n<li>Analyse late lines and give feedback to the Planning Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with product manager to determine forecast and safety stock levels.<\/li>\n<li>Consult with relevant people to understand market requirements to develop a supply plan.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate supply and production constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Planning Manager with annual operating plan (AOP).<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback to Planning Manager on supply and demand plans.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor forecast versus sales and analyse gaps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Degree \/ Diploma in Engineering \/ Supply Chain\/ Planning<\/li>\n<li>2+ years working knowledge of SAP.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years relevant working experience related to Inventory management and planning in manufacturing\/supply chain environment<\/li>\n<li>Have a drivers license and must have reliable transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Excellent analytical skills, mathematical\/numeracy skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent excel skills (Intermediate\/Advanced)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English)\u00a0 written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills (MS Office)<\/li>\n<li>Decisive and proactive, Take ownership<\/li>\n<li>Continuously learning and improving<\/li>\n<li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under time constraints and\/or high-pressure environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2014795?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dpersonastaff%26vacancy_ref%3dCPT003808%2fIP%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> June 30 2023<\/p>\n<p>To apply, please send your CV with your salary expectations to <a>ilana@personastaff.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
