The position requires you to work Monday to Friday and alternating Saturdays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Offloading stock from containers, trucks and vans.<\/li>\n<li>Checking goods received.<\/li>\n<li>Moving bulk inventory and packing stock away.<\/li>\n<li>Picking of stock.<\/li>\n<li>Checking picked and packed stock.<\/li>\n<li>Packing freight parcels.<\/li>\n<li>General Housekeeping of the Warehouse (Cleaning and Tidying)<\/li>\n<li>Doing periodical stock counts.<\/li>\n<li>Security of warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>Ad Hoc Duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>A competitive salary; and<\/li>\n<li>Provident Fund; and<\/li>\n<li>Optional Medical Aid (Discovery Heal or Moto Healthcare); and<\/li>\n<li>A discretionary annual performance bonus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"mb-0 bullet-list\">\n<li>Storekeeper: 1 to 2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We require people who are very accurate with stock numbers.<\/li>\n<li>You must be in good health and can do physically demanding work, especially lifting and carrying heavy stock items and spending long hours standing or walking.<\/li>\n<li>Prior knowledge and experience in the automotive aftermarket are advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Product knowledge of automotive aftermarket spares is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a medium to large warehouse is advantageous.
