The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate allocation of stock to bookings and processing shipments in accordance with standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12\/ Matic<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and Logistics Business Management or related field (Desirable).<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 2-years experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics experience (Preferably import related)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work all hours and from home where needed.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify the needs in the team and assist where needed.<\/li>\n<li>To have working knowledge of Google \/ Excel \/ Inttra (Desirable).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret shipping documentation (Desirable).<\/li>\n<li>Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational and communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Manage account operation and at all times avoid incurring penalties and additional cost for LCL\/Client<\/li>\n<li>Attend Client\/Operation planning meetings<\/li>\n<li>Provide shipping options\/routes\/stacks dates\/ETDs\/ETAs to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customer has relevant rates for the abovementioned on quotation<\/li>\n<li>Request adhoc rates for clients with commercial team.<\/li>\n<li>Receive customer booking<\/li>\n<li>Create &amp; send Q67 to:<\/li>\n<li>PPECB<\/li>\n<li>Agreed Line<\/li>\n<li>Customer<\/li>\n<li>Pack Store<\/li>\n<li>LCL Intermodal department (where relevant)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure receipt of Line booking confirmation.<\/li>\n<li>Verifying information correct as per customer instruction including capturing the correct freight contract (LCL\/Client) in QX.<\/li>\n<li>Forwarding correct booking confirmation to customer.<\/li>\n<li>Insert operational data e.g., container numbers \/ product &amp; temp info on files<\/li>\n<li>Update LCL systems with operational info QX.<\/li>\n<li>Interacting with intermodal in regard to any changes\/amendments\/issues with container loads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2025931?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dpersonastaff%26vacancy_ref%3dCPT003758%2fH%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 01 2023<\/p>\n<p>To apply, please send your CV with your salary expectations to <a>hannah@personastaff.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
