A degree NQF 6 in Accounting coupled with min 5 years payroll experience essential. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee salaries.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and train payroll staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including maintaining employee records, calculating pay and deductions, and processing payroll taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including provident fund, and group benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations, including tax reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments, such as the People &amp; Culture and Accounting teams, to ensure that payroll transactions are properly recorded and accounted for in the company&#8217;s financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll reports for management.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of changes in payroll laws and regulations and update payroll policies and procedures accordingly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements and knowledge required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (NQF level 6)<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in payroll administration, including experience managing payroll staff.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of PaySpace payroll software will be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Payroll Certificate and \/ or accounting exposure is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.<\/li>\n<li>Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently where required.<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of human resources and labour rules and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2026101?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dhelderbergpersonnel%26vacancy_ref%3dSW004054%2fJM%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 13 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Based in Somerset West, Helderberg Personnel was established in 1998.
