62311<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position will be based at the Bokoni Platinum Mine in Atok, Limpopo Province.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<br \/>\n<\/strong>The purpose of this position is to manage the Engineering Planning office to ensure minimum downtime using the On Key Computerized Maintenance Management System.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Coordinates and monitors all Engineering maintenance and planning activities relating to the Technical and Metallurgical processes within the Plant.<\/li>\n<li>Complement planned work by gathering critical information (resources, spares and tools arranged) for effective and safe execution.<\/li>\n<li>Continually evaluate and motivate critical spares to support equipment reliability during its life cycle.<\/li>\n<li>Actively assist in managing work backlogs.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for establishing and maintaining an accurate and comprehensive asset register, and managing the plant critical spares in collaboration with Engineer and Materials Controller.<\/li>\n<li>Planning of responsibilities with the Engineer to ensure an efficient workflow.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to all required standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with subordinates to provide coverage during leave.<\/li>\n<li>In order for the Maintenance Planner to contribute towards the safe and efficient achievement of set production targets, he\/she will responsible to:\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Compile and maintain a computerized asset plan ensuring that it is always up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Provide asset reports to the Plant Engineer on a periodical basis as required.<\/li>\n<li>Compile requisitions as and when necessary to ensure that special equipment is in stock for work required.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct in-depth root cause analysis and report the findings thereof to the Plant Engineer when major failures occur.<\/li>\n<li>Compile monthly reports from Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and submit to respective parties.<\/li>\n<li>Compile ad hoc reports as and when required by management or the client.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize scheduled tasks based on historical plant equipment failures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Relevant Trade Test Certificate with 5 years\u2019 experience as an Artisan and 2 years\u2019 experience as a Foreman;\u00a0or<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma Engineering with at least 5 years process plant experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nExperience &amp; Skills Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience in a Maintenance Planning role<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of and training in the maintenance module Pragma On Key or other similar maintenance module<\/li>\n<li>Relevant planned maintenance system training, On Key would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of Mining Engineering Codes of practices, policies and procedure<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of machinery and equipment used on the relevant operations<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of engineering best practices and new technologies relating to engineering principles &amp; processes<\/li>\n<li>Proven technical and maintenance capability<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of Condition Monitoring practices<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles would be very advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Mineral Process Plant experience would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in project planning and scheduling to include shut down planning in projects<\/li>\n<li>English language proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate in MS Office \u2013 Excel, Word, Power point, MS Projects<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license code B, EB or C1<\/li>\n<li>Own transport to attend to call
