The main purpose of this role will be to\u00a0supervise overall daily operations of the store and ensuring administrative duties are performed as per policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/strong><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 &#8211; Matric or Senior Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1 \u2013 2 years\u2019 experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Receiving and Capturing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Receive all warehouse goods and invoices in accordance with company policy and standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Return all unordered or damaged goods delivered to the store and accurately complete credit notes for non-acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Capture invoices and check goods received against invoices for total accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate verifying and capturing of physical goods receipts for the store in accordance with company policy and standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Store Inventory Monitoring:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Facilitate stock rotation to prevent stock from reaching its expiry date before selling.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe storage of products particularly fragile items<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate regular inventory audits.<\/li>\n<li>Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Regulate stock from receiving area to the storeroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Service:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Ensure Sales Assistants provide a friendly, helpful and courteous assistance while implementing a high standard of customer care and service.<\/li>\n<li>Escalate and investigate unresolved customer complaints to management.<\/li>\n<li>Check the manual point\u2019s allocation on card reports and statements, to ensure all manual allocations are given through to store management daily.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to excellent telephone etiquette at all-time according to Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stock Loss Prevention:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Ensure that outgoing stock\/ items\/ scripts are scanned and paid for.<\/li>\n<li>Keep daily takings (cash, cheques, vouchers, card slips, line voids and incomplete dockets) inside the till drawer until they are placed in the drop safe.<\/li>\n<li>Report bad and suspicious behaviour for both staff and customers to management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that no unauthorised access is granted to the store via the good receiving area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team Supervision:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Supervise an accountable, full service team who understand and strive to meet the needs of all customers.<\/li>\n<li>Motivate optimal performance of team, ensuring all quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives are met.<\/li>\n<li>Train employees in order to know how to use all equipment in the correct manner and adheres to the appropriate use of the equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Competencies<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of retail operations and administration<\/li>\n<li>Comprehending fundamental arithmetic\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Conveys ideas and facts verbally using language<\/li>\n<li>Addresses customer questions in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer skills(Word,Excel,and Outlook),numerical skills.SAP.UNISOLV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Special conditions of employment:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>South African Citizen<\/li>\n<li>MIE, clear criminal and credit<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license and\/or own reliable transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Remuneration and benefits:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Market related salary<\/li>\n<li>Medical aid<\/li>\n<li>Provident fund<\/li>\n<li>Staff account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2035049\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 07 2023<\/p>\n<p><u>ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
