Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Administration:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Keep control of the order from delivery, to issuing to different departments<\/li>\n<li>Have up to date knowledge on price increases from approved suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Complete the order sheets and query all irregularities on the prices<\/li>\n<li>Always be available to help with stock taking measures and assist in the capturing of it<\/li>\n<li>Keeping cleaning rosters, time sheets, order sheets and maintenance rosters are up\u00a0to date and implemented<\/li>\n<li>Have detailed documents on opening and closing procedures of the kitchens<\/li>\n<li>To contribute and be involved in HOD meetings and daily handovers<\/li>\n<li>Carry out instructions given by management and Head Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Quality &amp; Presentation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Maintain food quality and presentation standards set by General Manager and Executive Chef<\/li>\n<li>To assist in the preparation and service of high-quality food and take responsibility for the food<\/li>\n<li>To monitor the quality of the stock delivered by suppliers from the point of delivery to point of consumption<\/li>\n<li>To ensure food is prepared timeously<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Reporting \/ Communication<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Communicate a detailed handover to the head chef on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Report necessary problems and shortages to the Duty Manager, Head Chef or GM<\/li>\n<li>Keep track of:\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>What needs to be ordered<\/li>\n<li>What has been ordered to ensure that there are no stock irregularities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with group food custodian on all new ideas and suggestions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Cleaning &amp; Maintenance:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Ensure that all HACCP standards are maintained<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the kitchen equipment is clean and in working order at all times<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the tidiness of the store rooms, fridges and freezers<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that the kitchen is kept in a hygienic, clean and orderly state<\/li>\n<li>Set up and implement a cleaning schedule<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the Facilities File is up to date and being correctly implemented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Financial:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>To ensure minimum wastage of raw and cooked materials<\/li>\n<li>To ensure maximum food quality to eliminate complaints resulting in discounts<\/li>\n<li>Eliminate wastage by monitoring the freshness of all produce in the fridge, and communicate it through the Executive Chef, Duty Manager or GM<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with current promotions and new products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Human Resources:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Keep staff personal information up to date in their files<\/li>\n<li>Make sure all the Company\u2019s rules and regulations are implemented at all times throughout the kitchen<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that all staffing issues are dealt with in the correct manner, and in coherence with the Executive Chef, Duty Manager or GM<\/li>\n<li>Maintain staffing levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Discipline:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Correct disciplinary procedures and actions to be enforced at all times<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Head Chef, Financial accountant and the general manager with administrative work relating to the disciplinary problems as needed<\/li>\n<li>To maintain the status quo in the kitchen environment thus assisting to eliminate uncalled for disciplinary problems<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the quality of food, work procedure in the head chef\u2019s absence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Salary:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>R 20 000 \u2013 R 30 000 (Negotiable, dependent on
