R1 001.00 Per Month<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong> Logistics, Import &amp; Export\u00a0Procurement<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> ProcMan2645<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>To be a successful candidate, you will be able to build great relationships with suppliers, to develop cost effective procurement plans appropriate to assigned products and services and to implement new or improved supply chain processes<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Source products, obtain quotations and place orders with international and local suppliers in accordance with company requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Identify suitable suppliers\/vendors based on company needs.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with new and existing suppliers (SLAs\/cost effective\/alternative products).<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate and agree the most favourable terms possible with suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Price negotiations.<\/li>\n<li>Capture all local and international orders and ensure that the administration of Purchase Order (PO) process is completed accurately in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain signed PO confirmation and acceptance after PO placement.<\/li>\n<li>Expedite delivery of goods until final acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Expedite late deliveries and resolve causes of late deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Review, compare, analyse, and approve products and services to be purchased.<\/li>\n<li>Follow and enforce the company&#8217;s procurement policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Enquire and manage raw product supply from relevant suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Internal Supply Chain Management.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize the supply of raw materials.<\/li>\n<li>Compile and maintain the database of approved suppliers in accordance with company requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Manage B-BBEE certifications of suppliers and record keeping.<\/li>\n<li>Compile required B-BBEE documentation and submission thereof.<\/li>\n<li>Review MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and place orders for products according to set targets.<\/li>\n<li>Plan inventory based on sales forecasts ensuring optimal stock levels.<\/li>\n<li>Develop procurement plans appropriate to assigned products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the accounts department regarding supplier account queries.<\/li>\n<li>Develop material cost forecasts or standard cost lists.<\/li>\n<li>Identify gaps in Supply Chain Management.<\/li>\n<li>Implement new or improved supply chain processes.<\/li>\n<li>Work in conjunction with other relevant departments to co-create the supply chain strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the creation and delivery of both the short-term and longer-term business supply plans.<\/li>\n<li>Be involved with new product\/range launches.<\/li>\n<li>Request amendments of artwork (if needed) and liaise with printers.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with any additional ad-hoc and miscellaneous duties, project duties or company events when required and as prescribed by Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"mb-0 bullet-list\">\n<li>Pastel: 3 to 4 years<\/li>\n<li>Syspro: 3 to 4 years<\/li>\n<li>Pivot Tables: 3 to 4 years<\/li>\n<li>Material Requirement Planning: 3 to 4 years<\/li>\n<li>Procurement Manager FMCG : 3 to 4 years<\/li>\n<li>BBBEE Certificate Experience: 3 to 4 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>National Senior Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Qualification in supply chain\/procurement<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2-3 year\u2019s FMCG environment experience in a similar position<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar position<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of import and export requirements<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of the FMCG environment.<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate in MS Office;
