As a proudly South African, Level 2 BBBEE rated Company; we offer professional services in selected Information and Communication Technology and Engineering and Technical sector.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Policy Framework Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Johannesburg<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> GTG001259\/DL<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.carlysle.co.za\/Policy Framework Specialist &#8211; The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a policy framework that guide decision-making processes, The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, conduct extensive research, and provide expert advice to ensure policies are aligned with organisational goals, legal requirements, group guidelines and industry best practices.<br \/>\n<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Experience &amp; Skills Required:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Proven work experience as Policy expert, or similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical research skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize complex information.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise policy documents.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to compile process flow documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams to identify policy needs, goals and desired outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practises to inform policy development.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse existing policies, identify gaps or areas of improvement, and propose revisions or new policies as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Develop comprehensive policy framework that outlines objectives, guiding principles, procedures, and decision-making processes.<\/li>\n<li>Draft policy documents, including policy statements, procedures, guidelines, and any necessary supporting documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Consult with stakeholders, including executives, managers, legal advisors, and subject matter experts, to gather input and ensure policy alignment with organisational strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert advice and guidance on policy interpretation, implementation and compliance matters.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor policy compliance and identify potential risks or non \u2013compliance issues, proposing corrective measures when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practises in policy development and implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Train and educate staff members on policy requirements, ensuring awareness and understanding throughout the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate policies into business processes, systems, and practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Policy development process: Understanding the step-by-step process of policy development, including identifying policy needs, conducting research, drafting policy documents, gathering stakeholder input, and implementing policies.<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory environment: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
