A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application.<\/p>\n<p><u><\/u><br \/>\n<strong><u>DUTIES:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Regular checks of documents and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Review, develop and manage all company health and safety policies<\/li>\n<li>Support and coach the staff with the latest health and safety legislation and regulations and increase H&amp;S awareness at all levels within the Company<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all government related bodies and regulating agencies alongside Production Managers and Management<\/li>\n<li>Arrange\/ schedule quarterly meetings with Health and Safety Representatives and HSE Committee<\/li>\n<li>Receive HSE Representative inspection reports and document action lists based on risk of deviations identified<\/li>\n<li>Ensure policies are adhered to<\/li>\n<li>Assist with training needs determination based on HSE System and OHS Act requirements and monitor that training is up to date<\/li>\n<li>Give monthly reports on incidents, near misses, injuries and corrective actions taken<\/li>\n<li>Report incidents to Department of Labour on correct WCL documents where required<\/li>\n<li>Generate monthly dashboards and feedback on HSE compliance and deviations<\/li>\n<li>Work with appointed 16.1 and 16.2s<\/li>\n<li>Attend HSE internal compliance audits<\/li>\n<li>Review and document non- conformances<\/li>\n<li>Align policies with international standards ISO14000 and ISO45001 where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Manage and assist external audits by customers or authorities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in documenting incident investigations and report on all person injuries and critical incidents occurring to staff, contractors, visitors, identify route course and corrective actions where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed<\/li>\n<li>Review safety obligations of the clients, contractors and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement<\/li>\n<li>Ensure new employees are inducted on health and safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safety signage and notice boards with postings are maintained<\/li>\n<li>Assist with emergency preparedness and communicate any emergency<\/li>\n<li>Perform self-audits and ensure compliance with the documented processes<\/li>\n<li>Review process documents and update and upgrade in coordination with the Management Executive<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for the development, co-ordination, management of processes and implementation of one or more specific areas of the HSE management system requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 (Matric)<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Diploma in Safety Management<\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 5 years relevant experience (in a corporate environment advantageous) on Occupational Health and Safety Environment<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams<\/li>\n<li>Must be available after hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>HOURS:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n8:00 \u2013 17:00 (Mon-Fri<strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2042552?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dstatus%26vacancy_ref%3dPC001368%2fLS%26source%3dcareers24\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> August 12 2023<\/p>\n<p>Should you meet all the requirements, apply on our website at <a>www.statusstaffing.com <\/a>today.<br \/>\nShould you not hear back from us within 10 working days, please consider your application as unsuccessful.\u00a0 We will retain your credentials for future similar roles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to STATUS STAFFING SOLUTIONS, a leading Western Cape based broad spectrum boutique staffing solutions provider.
