The key purpose of the position is to manage and operate a profitable, Primary Health Care Clinic that is situated in a pharmacy within the scope of practice of a registered nursing practitioner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \u2013 Matric<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification in General Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in Midwifery<\/li>\n<li>Registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC)<\/li>\n<li>Nursing practitioner must obtain BHF registration<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years\u2019 experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills \u2013 Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Advantageous:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Minimum 5 years practicing as a Primary Health Care Sister<\/li>\n<li>Patient Record System &amp; CKS &amp; Allegra<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Perform Clinic Sister duties according to industry regulations and industry best<\/li>\n<li>Manage the average \u201cfeet-per-hour\u201d rate and set clinic objectives to enhance patient<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all clinic services are available at the<\/li>\n<li>Keep accurate records of patient details, and ensure communication is followed up<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the Clinic is open and operational according to the hours stated in the operational<\/li>\n<li>Process claims accurately and timeously according to industry<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all stock and equipment in the clinic is in a working condition according to industry<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stock is sufficient in the Clinic according to business<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain healthy relationships with the following stakeholders: Patients, Store and Dispensary Manager, Colleagues, Medical Aids, Suppliers\/Reps, key role players in the community, and other Healthcare<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of community health nursing, primary health care and\/or occupational health nursing, family planning, cytology, IUD, pharmacology, EPI\/cold chain management, STDs, emergency care, HIV\/AIDS pre- and post-counseling, breastfeeding, pathology, wound care<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly CPD training; in-service training with Dis-Chem<\/li>\n<li>Strong command of English (written and oral)<\/li>\n<li>Understand the financial implications of meeting or not meeting set monthly targets<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills relating to monthly clinic statistics and commission<\/li>\n<li>Emotional intelligence; entrepreneurial flair; trustworthy and honest<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage team and self; be self-direct and self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantageous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Bilingual<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of the business objectives<\/li>\n<li>Baby Immunisation Course (DoH\/ Sanofi Pasteur); Family planning (DoH); Primary Health Care Course; Breastfeeding course; Disease management course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special conditions of employment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Willing and able to work retail hours<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit and healthy to manage a Primary Health Care Clinic<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport<\/li>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Clear credit and criminal records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration and benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Market-related salary<\/li>\n<li>Medical aid<\/li>\n<li>Provident fund<\/li>\n<li>Staff account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2045750\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> Aug 19 2023<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
