The candidate will be required to assist with a range of tasks within the finance debtors department\u00a0and other financial tasks that may be handed to them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric or Senior Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Work through every account type on all age analysis on a monthly basis and act according to each account individual circumstances and keep accurate record thereof as per Dis-Chem standard operating procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on workflows that are outstanding.<\/li>\n<li>Print debtors all age analysis on a monthly basis and keep accurate records thereof.<\/li>\n<li>Print COD investigation accounts and debtors report on a monthly basis and keep accurate records thereof.<\/li>\n<li>Perform invoice reduction on invoices that have not been fully received or have price differences.<\/li>\n<li>Following up on claims from suppliers and warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain credit notes for claims from suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Correctly process journals when required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare creditors reconciliations timeously, ensuring clear reconciling monthly.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare payment requests accurately with all supporting documentation according to deadlines set.<\/li>\n<li>File creditor\u2019s documentation accurately and neatly.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile high volumes of accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with data capturing on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all amounts loaded for payment have been approved by senior management and signed off.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with the financial year end standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Competencies:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Financial Accounting knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform basic accounting calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Packages \u2013 Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Business financial skills.<\/li>\n<li>Trustworthy and honest.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter, diligent, accurate, attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to analyse financial reports.<\/li>\n<li>Be deadline orientated, and have good time management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Advantageous:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>2nd Additional language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Special conditions of employment:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>South African or valid work permit<\/li>\n<li>MIE, clear criminal and credit record<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s license and\/or reliable transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2045710\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 27 2023<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
