Our experience in permanent and contract-based recruitment enables us to provide you with recruitment solutions that meet your long- and short-term needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Field Service Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Johannesburg<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0R20 000.00 &#8211; R24 000.00 Per Month<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Engineering<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> NCM001069\/TS<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Top Tier client with international footprint requires the services of a Field Service Technician (Engineering), experienced in end-user repairs and\/or technical selling of vacuum pumps, water pumps, compressors, valves, or other Industrial equipment selling to industrial markets: E.g., Food, plastics, woodwork, medical, automotive, packaging, wastewater.<\/p>\n<div class=\"v-descrip\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preference to technical qualifications: Electrical or Millwright trade.<\/p>\n<p>Experienced in end-user repairs and\/or technical selling of vacuum pumps, water pumps, compressors, valves, or other Industrial equipment selling to industrial markets: E.g., Food, plastics, woodwork, medical, automotive, packaging, wastewater.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Synopsis of the job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Field service and sales on vacuum pumps and blowers at the customer site. The candidate will also be expected to help grow the business while in contact with customers by providing excellent technical solutions and looking for opportunities to increase sales. Travel around South Africa and Africa is required at times as well as to Europe at times for training. Regular overtime and weekend work will be required<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Must proficiently communicate with customers, verbally and via email daily<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner.<\/li>\n<li>Calling on existing and new customers and maintaining relationships and growing the business with these customers<\/li>\n<li>Identifying new prospects and cold calling on potential customers.<\/li>\n<li>Setting and chasing ambitious sales targets and generate new pump sales.<\/li>\n<li>Grow field service. This will include procuring active service contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Tracking previous services completed and getting customers to service again with us.<\/li>\n<li>Generate service repair sales for the Busch workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Generate new pump sales: spares, pumps and systems<\/li>\n<li>On-site problem solving.<\/li>\n<li>Install and repair vacuum pumps and systems on site.<\/li>\n<li>May be required to travel in Africa.
