We offer a full recruitment service for permanent and contract staff\/vacancies from entry level to Financial, Office Support, Engineering, Human Resources, Technical, Information Technology, Warehousing, Legal and Senior Executives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Design Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Johannesburg South<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Up to R60 000.00 Per Month<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Engineering<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> CET003892\/MO<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client in JHB south is looking for a design engineer.<br \/>\n<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Will be required to create designs and technical drawings for projects.<\/li>\n<li>Will be required to review specifications and other data to develop new designs and technical layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Will work closely with other engineers and draftsman to create and improve\/evolve designs and develop drawings for a wide variety of specialised custom vehicle build projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBLITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Receive concept information from clients.<\/li>\n<li>Design and produce a concept model\/drawing- As per client specification.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with management, sales, and the clients to obtain concept design sign off.<\/li>\n<li>Translate the concept into activated design projects.<\/li>\n<li>Create and build 3D model designs in line with company procedure, regulations, standards, and client specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Manage\/oversee related assigned project draftsman.<\/li>\n<li>Checking of drawings before submission to manager for sign off and release.<\/li>\n<li>Finalize designs\/drawings and release manufacturing dockets to the production department.<\/li>\n<li>Publish drawings to the production floor and communicate with fabrication and assembly manages and personnel with regards to design manufacture and build.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Do quality checks during the manufacturing process and on final finished project.<\/li>\n<li>Use customer feedback and data to design upgrades, improvements or repairs the company&#8217;s existing machines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Btech \/ BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>3D CAD Modelling software<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft office (Advanced)<\/li>\n<li>3+ years&#8217; experience in design engineering role or related experience<\/li>\n<li>Autodesk Inventor experience advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Autodesk Vault experience advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/VacancyApplication\/ExternalApplication\/2047100?appResponseMethodId=2&amp;applicationUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.placementpartner.co.za%2fwi%2fsubmit_cv_form.php%3fid%3dsentinel%26vacancy_ref%3dCET003892%2fMO%26source%3dcareers24%26rtpg%3dhttps%3a%2f%2fwww.careers24.com\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> August 23 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sentinel Staffing Services has been providing a professional recruitment solution to employers and job seekers in all industries since 1999.
