The company offers employees the opportunity to utilise and develop their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding work environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Site Manager\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Limpopo<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong> Agriculture, General<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> 65964<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsible for daily production activities, planning and reporting of a site which includes direct management of assigned employees, accountability, responsibility, training and motivating employees, Site procurement &amp; asset control, administration duties in accordance with established targets and methods and set by Operations Management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 proven experience in a production environment.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and Experience in Maize Production.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft office (incl. Advanced Excel).<\/li>\n<li>CB &#8211; Code B driver\u2019s license\/ own reliable transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that staff are motivated<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Ensure that all employee attendance registers are completed daily by team leaders of each site, report any absenteeism to management.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and monitor PRP system with HR assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Submit annual leave plans for employees.<\/li>\n<li>Submit a Training Matrix for employees annually.<\/li>\n<li>Report any vacancies to management.<\/li>\n<li>Train Supervisor and team on clocking machine and clocking procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all sites follow clocking procedure and assist were needed.<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs, maintain training record, planned job observations and assist in training of new and existing employees.<\/li>\n<li>Report and misconduct by employees that can lead to a verbal-, written- or final written warning to management and take action.<\/li>\n<li>Actively assist with building an effective and productive team.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and establish good working relations with all team members.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation as well as VKB Milling policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all VKB Milling policies and procedures as well as applicable labor legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all VKB Milling Health and Safety rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all VKB Milling 20 Keys policies and procedures as well as Health and Safety rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Participate in work activities to expedite workload.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as prescribed by management.<\/li>\n<li>Assign duties to employees, monitor and coordinate them to ensure that they are carried out in the most productive and efficient way.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect Milling, Packing and Distribution regularly to ensure all standards and procedures are met.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and assist with preparation, maintenance, cleaning and receiving of new stock.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high standard in Site administration and reporting.
