This is a live in position whereby the successful candidate will work for 21 days and then get 7 days off (transport to and from the Port Elizabeth is provided by the Lodge for this)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties to include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall responsibility for the villa kitchen\u2019s daily operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the hygiene and safety of kitchens are being maintained at the highest level. Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with Lodge Manageress &amp; the relevant companies for villa food orders.<\/li>\n<li>Creating new dishes and menus and providing costs.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing a suggested menu for villa guests prior to their arrival &amp; adjusting this to their requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing \/ executing all meals, tea\u2019s etc. for the villa guests.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with \/ conversing with \/ hosting guests. (The villa kitchen is based in the villa and is open plan to the living area \u2013 so guests will interact directly with the chef)<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring they have stock of all items (as per the villa guest\u2019s requirements) prior to their arrival.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining\/raising the food\u2019s profit margins.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and controlling food stock levels.
