Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The position will be responsible to providing support to Branches and Regional Management as well as to attend to all queries, objections, requests, enquiries, etc. from branches and regional structures, with the aim of adequately and timeously resolving these matters. The position involves building sound working relationship between departments at Team Support and the branches.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>With Hollywoodbets You Will:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovate and create\u00a0<\/strong>as part of a like-minded, authentic Team eager to achieve goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Embrace<\/strong>\u00a0challenges and the thrill of working in a vibrant and fast-paced industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grow<\/strong>\u00a0with our development plans and culture that allows you to further your career.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>You Bring:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Fair understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and a minimum of 2 years\u2019 driving experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience in a Bookmaking Clerk\/Managerial or Operations position, or an equivalent level of experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>A Bonus To Have:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Diploma, Degree or Certificate in Retail Management.<\/li>\n<li>Bookmakers Key Employee &#8211; registered as a Key Employee or Bookmakers Manager or equivalent with any of the Provincial Gambling Boards in the Republic of South Africa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>What You\u2019ll Do For The Brand:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Offering general Operational or Administrative support to branches and regions in your portfolio \u2013 via remotely or on-field support.<\/li>\n<li>Working as a direct liaison between Team Support and Regional\/ Area Managers\/ branches.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all communication from Team Support is screened before submitted to Branches, Area &amp; Regional Managers. (Example: Communicating a new procedure\/ Circulars\/ Memos)<\/li>\n<li>Being on call 24\/7 (On cellphone \u2013 Unless approved by your line manager of not being available on cellphone) to offer regions in your portfolio with operational support.<\/li>\n<li>Completing incentive calculations and requisitions.<\/li>\n<li>Following up with all types of shortages i.e. daily, weekly etc. and ensure that each shortage or over is investigated. Ensure that valid shortages are recovered via Cash or AOD before the Shortages Summary Report is sent to management every Tuesday.<\/li>\n<li>Following up on IT sms \u2013 Keep record of downtime so that the information is on hand for Management.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with all types of escalated client disputes (Formal &amp; Informal) and draft responses where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting treasury and Area or Regional Manager with daily float management and other cash arrangements such as branch top up, cash movements and CIT requests.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with Treasury Department with all banking done by the branches and follow up with all outstanding banking that exceeds 3 days. For weekends follow ups must start on Tuesday.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with all CIT arrangements for your regions i.e. outstanding banking, missing boxes, special services or general queries.<\/li>\n<li>Following up weekly with Overtime reports and ensure overtime is kept at a minimum.<\/li>\n<li>Executing any operational task handed to you by Hollywood\u2019s Directors and Executive Managers.<\/li>\n<li>Traveling on short notice as per business requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Adhoc tasks may be handed to you by Managements provided that it has a direct impact on Retail Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously looking to improve efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing learning and new techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read and action the following Operational Reports daily (Focus on Branches or Regions in your portfolio):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Regional &amp; Area Managers daily reports. Compile weekly summary on these reports.<\/li>\n<li>Read Cash Monitoring Department (C.M.D) \u2013 Monitoring cash balances kept at night and shortages declared by CMD. Read Comments tabs.<\/li>\n<li>Read, compile, action and follow up on items on the Newsflash and Checklist reports in the exact format of the group consolidated newsflash report.
