Key Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Determine forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Ensure budgetary and performance targets are met<\/li>\n<li>Relaying of forecasts and projections to the finance department<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the buying department is procuring goods and services and estimated allowables<\/li>\n<li>Ensure claims\/certificates are drafted, checked; optimised and submitted timeously<\/li>\n<li>Financial tracking of each project (with the operations manager) to determine the current state of profitability<\/li>\n<li>Drafting\/submission of invoices based on approved certificates\/claims<\/li>\n<li>Identifying financial opportunities on individual sites and ensuring that they are implemented<\/li>\n<li>Appointment of sub-contractors; monitoring and certification of sub-contractors claims<\/li>\n<li>Comparing and managing contractual processes side by side with the estimation department<\/li>\n<li>Site specific assessments to assist tendering team<\/li>\n<li>Determining future workload through communication with the estimation department<\/li>\n<li>Record keeping\/Ledgers on project finances<\/li>\n<li>With information provided by the operations manager conduct project \u201cpost mortems\u201d to identify how the project tracked against the estimation departments strategy and predictions<\/li>\n<li>Fostering clear and decisive communications with the various departments<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contracts:\u00a0<\/strong>(As a support to the estimation department) You will need to be well versed in commercial contract administration to negotiate\/manage contracts within specified agreement terms\/contracts [<strong><em>JBCC\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(full suite of contracts),\u00a0<strong><em>GCC<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><em>NEC<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><em>FIDIC<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><em>COLTO<\/em><\/strong>]<\/li>\n<li><strong>Relationships:\u00a0<\/strong>Foster productive relationships with Clients; Landscape Architects; Designers, Principal Contractors, Suppliers, Service providers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Upsell:\u00a0<\/strong>(As a support to the operations department) Identify &amp; negotiate upselling opportunities ensuring increasing of revenue and exceeding of net profit<\/li>\n<li>Site visits: Site visits to ensure that you keep in touch with site progress in relation to claims and program<\/li>\n<li><strong>Industrial Relations:\u00a0<\/strong>Attend Discipline;
